The former Manchester Bahá’í Centre at 360 Wilmslow Road, Fallowfield was officially opened 27 May 1962. It was donated for use as a Bahá’í Centre by several local Bahá’ís.
Until 2011 the Centre was regularly used by local Bahá’í communities from central Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, and Wilmslow, among others. It had also been used for various national and English regional events and activities over the years.
The Centre was home to various Bahá’í volunteers from many different countries who helped with its running and upkeep – and housed the Ridgway library and archives, commemorating the first Bahá’í in the North of England.
Currently our events are held in homes and various other venues around Manchester. Please feel free to contact us to find out more.
